The Resurrection Window

“Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.” (John 13:1)

The final window reflects the death and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Because God is wholly without sin, we are separated from Him by our own sin, and in His holiness God must punish our disobedience. With abundant mercy and love, however, God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross in our place, taking the punishment for our sin, which is death, so that through Jesus we can have a right relationship with God. With great love Jesus laid down His life to save us.

Jesus loves you and wants you to come to Him. He rose from the grave and offers eternal life to all those who believe in Him ~ all those who turn from their sin, place their faith in Jesus and follow Him find grace and forgiveness for their sins, and are reconciled to God. Praise God who did not leave us hopeless, but became our salvation, deliverer, healer, and living hope!

“This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (1 John 4:10)
